Busy making origami flowers
I've been so busy making origami flowers. These origami flowers came out way better than the ones that I made few days ago.... I finally perfected my handmade gifts for my family & friends. My 7 year old daughter is actually learning to make these flowers as well. She is getting good at it and helping me out. We are having a lot of fun making them:-)

Elves in our neighborhood
Oh my, little Elves are running around in our neighborhood. Over the last couple of days we've been getting door bell rings during our dinner time. When we open the door, there is no one standing, expect for the gift(s) sitting on our porch. The first night was a binder with 12 days of Christmas stories. Today was two wooden sea creatures for my girls to paint. We have an idea of who is doing this…. so we emailed one of our neighbors asking if it was them. Well, this is the response we received: "On the Elves...well, I've heard rumors that there have been elf sightings in our neighborhood. But I can neither confirm or deny that they've come to your house! :)" How cute:-) My girls are very excited and they truly believe that these little gifts are coming from Elves!
Recycled Starbucks Bottle #2
Two days ago, I wrote about my recycled Starbucks frapuccino bottles.... Basically trying to turn a recycled bottle into a gift.
As you see my pictures, I personally think that my #1 bottle came out great. However, last night, I came up with another version. This time, I made origami flowers and added them in the bottle with chocolates & candy canes. Oh and I designed a gift tag as well.
Now I can't decide which one I like the best. Can someone tell me if you like #1 or #2? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Mittens are still in a great shape. |
I searched L-Bow brand products this morning online. I was able to purchase a new pair of L-Bow Gloves for my oldest daughter. The L-Bow mittens($19.99) / L-Bow gloves($24.99) are a bit expensive, but I rather have something that keeps my daughters' hands warm for their outdoor play in the snow. Based on my own personal experience, I highly recommend L-Bow mittens / L-Bow gloves to anyone!
I shopped through Ebates today and saved extra money on this purchase. I Logged-in Ebates, then went to Gander Mountain. (I got 3% cash back plus Free shipping on any order)
