Birthday Party Ideas | Money Saving Tips | My Life

Preparing for my little one’s birthday party…..

January 9, 2012

My little one is turning 3 next month. It is still a little early to plan for her party, but I need to at least start thinking about it. I plan to invite some of my little one’s good friends. In the past, I hired a person/clown to entertain the kids for my oldest one’s birthday party. However, I am changing that habit of hiring people…… For my little one’s party, I plan to be the entertainer, so that I can save some money. I will become a balloon twister. I have learned balloon twisting by watching YouTube. I love YouTube! I am learning so much stuff for FREE! So far, I’ve mastered to make a balloon flower, giraffe, sword, monkey, elephant, hat and etc. Recently, I made a flower balloon sword for my friend’s little girl for her birthday. It was a big hit! She loved the twisted balloon!!!!
Based on my past experiences, if you hire a clown/balloon twister, they charge you around $110-$150 for 1 hour of entertainment.  That’s a lot of money that you can be saving…. If you are looking for kids’ birthday entertainment ideas, why not learn to twist balloons. Balloon twisting is so easy and saves you tons of money by doing it yourself.  Just visit YouTube and watch the how to video’s on balloon twisting 🙂  Happy Savings!
